| I must be one of the LUCKIEST dudes on this Earth =) But then again, is there such thing as LUCK? To me, lucky means finding a good parking spot! Tis not luck but Faith that has brought me this far. Sweet like sugar the past 3 years as been for me =) Now that the new year has come, i'm excited in seeing what it will bring. I never have new years resolutions because I think its pointless to have them. Why do we need a new year to make a change? Shouldnt change be dictated by our will and not by the date on the calendar? Change occurs from the heart and soul, not from the time of year.If you want to change, then you need the power of the HOLY SPIRIT! ONLY God can give you the strength to overcome your own self.
I thank God EVERYDAY that I am alive and well. I thank God that he blesses me daily and watches over me. I thank God that he hears my cries for help and comes to my rescue everytime! There is no substitute for God. I speak this confidently because as I have lived my life faithfully, I see the fruits of my labor. God gives me the strength to endure and overcome all pains and obstacles. Nothing is impossible with God.....NOTHING!
I dont worry about how others live their lives because we all sow what we reap. Some people wont get it right the first time. But thats ok, because God is patient and kind, he will give you all the time you need....because he is AWESOME and MOST LOVING.
I love life and love the fact that I live it with God in it. That alone tells me that no matter what happens to me, i'll never be alone nor be hopeless. I found the true meaning of LOVE thanks to Jesus.

| DEAR JESUS,
I never knew what heaven felt like until you came into my life and showed me how much you loved me. Because of you, I learned how to endure and be strong. It is in the times when i suffer that I learn how to depend on your love to help me survive. Jesus you are my Savior and my Hero. You are the greatest teacher I have ever known. I dont idolize nobody else but you. I give my life to you and nobody else. I love a lot of things and people....but I love you the most. You make me want to be a better person. You give me hope, peace, strength and happiness. You encourage and motivate me like no other. You give me the wisdom I need to deal with this life. I am NOTHING without you Lord. Everywhere I go, you are in my thoughts. You are the ONLY one who truly understands me. I feel very fortunate and blessed to be able to experience your grace. Your perfect love casts out all my fears in times when I am afraid. You make me fearless when I call out to you for guidance and support. I see right from wrong through your intimate words that are spoken to my heart. You are the BEST thing that has ever happened to me. I cant describe in words how much you mean to me. You give me the child-like heart that I didnt know I could experience again. My life feels like a dream come true because you are in it. I have been saved because of the ultimate sacrifice you made. I could never trust anyone as much as I trust you. Nobody can make me cry happy tears the way you can. I feel like such a terrible person....but yet you still are there with me to help me. How can I ever blame you for anything? I dont blame you for a thing...and I accept whatever happens to me in this life. I have faith in you because I know you are always there to carry me through any storm I encounter. I LOVE you Jesus. I am proud to be able to call you my Heavenly Father. You taught me how to be modest and humble. You give me much confidence that I dont ever need to prove anything to anyone by being cocky or prideful. You give me all the purpose I need in my life. I find refuge and comfort in you alone. I dont feel lonely because you are with me always. Jesus you are the SOLUTION to ALL of my problems. I cannot THANK you enough for all that you have done. THANK YOU MY LORD.....THANK YOU for being my GOD. I understand this life a little better because of you. You are the true definition of Love and Forgiveness. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART JESUS CHRIST. I LOVE YOU!!!

I dont know what I would do or where I would be without God in my life. It is because of Jesus Christ that I am where I am now. I give all glory to him and him alone. Nothing else in this world could save me the way he has. Nothing in this world has the power to change a person the way he does. Jesus Christ specializes in making amazing changes in people. The LOVE of Christ has the power to save a life!!! Trust me.....Jesus Christ is alllllllllll that you need to be HAPPY =) Put your life in his hands and follow the path he wants to lay out for you...then you shall see....what its like to be ALIVE and HAPPY.

***July 4th - Independence Day***
For some, today is like any other ordinary day. But for me…today holds dear to my heart and symbolizes a greater day than many other days. Today, Americans celebrate their independence day. Today I celebrate my own independence day as well. Today marks my three year anniversary of having accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Just like the United States was declared independent from Great Britain, I am declared independent from my sins by Jesus Christ.
I am forever grateful to have Jesus Christ in my life. Truthfully and honestly, I can say that the past three years of my life with the Lord has been the most satisfying and gratifying years of my life. People who have known me were always skeptical when I first told them that I accepted Christ from day one. I guess they figured this was some kind of “phase” or one of those temporary “bandwagon” trendy lifestyle changes and I would eventually revert back to my old self. Well…its been THREE YEARS… and my heart and soul still belongs to Jesus Christ. I only got one thing to say in response… You underestimate the love and power of Jesus Christ. You fail to realize that he specializes in changing lives! No matter who you are or what you have done in your life, you still have a place with God if you choose to accept. Christ is here to SAVE ALL…LOVE ALL….and FORGIVE ALL!
